Downloading the CVW 3.2 Application Software


Before installing the CVW software, verify that your system meets the recommended system requirements.

CVW Server

The CVW Server 3.2 software is available for Solaris and Linux.

To establish your own CVW Server:

  1. Download the CVW Server software
  2. Install the CVW Server

With version CVW server version 3.2, you no longer need to obtain a CVW Server license key.

Please refer to the CVW documentation for documents that will help you administer your CVW environment.

CVW Client

In order to use the CVW client software, you must have a user account on a CVW server. The CVW client software is available for Unix (Solaris, Linux), Windows (95 and NT 4.0), and Palm Pilot.

To use the Unix CVW Tk client software:

  1. Download the Unix CVW Tk client software
  2. Install the Unix CVW Tk client
  3. Use the Quick Reference Guide to get started

To use the Windows CVW 3.2 Java client software:

  1. Download the Windows CVW Java client software
  2. Install the Windows CVW Java client
  3. Use the User's Guide and the Quick Reference Guide to get started

To use the Palm CVW client software:

  1. Download the CVW Palm client software
  2. Install the CVW Palm client
  3. Use the Quick Reference Guide to get started
